COVID-19:
Wearing a mask is mandatory

Dear customers,

Wearing a mask that covers nose and mouth will be mandatory in enclosed or partially enclosed public places from the 18th of July, 2020, for people aged 12 and over.

If you’re concerned you may have COVID-19:

  • separate yourself from others as soon as you have symptoms.
  • if you are outside the home when a symptom develops, go home immediately and avoid taking public transit.
  • stay home and follow the advice of your Public Health Authority, who may recommend isolation.
  • call ahead to a health care provider if you are ill and seeking medical attention.

If you don’t have your mask, you can buy one at the entrance to Quincaillerie Notre-Dame or the Center de rénovation St-Patrick for $2.00.

 

How to use a face-covering or a mask:

At Quincaillerie Notre-Dame and Centre de rénovation St-Patrick we also sell reusable and adjustable masks in different colors. WARNING! The reusable face-covering you will receive:

  • must be washed before being used for the first time.
  • do not protect you from COVID-19 but help protect those around you.
  • do not replace handwashing or physical distancing.
  • No handshakes, hugs, or kisses.
  • Wash your hands before putting on your mask
  • Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin
  • Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face
  • Make sure you can breathe easily
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands after touching contaminated surfaces or objects
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow, not your hands.
  • Keep a distance of at least 2 arms lengths (approximately 2 meters) from others, as much as possible.
  • Limit contact with people at higher risk (e.g. older adults and those in poor health).

The Quincaillerie Notre-Dame and the Centre de rénovation St-Patrick will adjust the opening hours for the Christmas holidays.

We will be closing at 3 pm on the 24th and 31st of December, and we are closed on the 25th and 26th of December, and the 1st and 2nd of January.

We would like to wish all of our customers all the best for the Holidays!

The Quincaillerie Notre-Dame and the Centre de rénovation St-Patrick will adjust the opening hours for the Christmas holidays.

Here is what you need to know:

  • If you come to our stores, please bring your mask for your safety. It is mandatory.
  • We will only allow five customers at a time into the store
  • We will provide a hand-disinfection station at the entrance
